Melanie graduated in 2009 from Seneca College and has been working in the Veterinary field ever since. Melanie joined our team in December 2017 as a Registered Veterinary Technician, and is responsible for safely anesthetizing our surgical patients, monitoring them during surgery, and ensuring a safe and comfortable recovery. She also performs additional duties including placing IV catheters, taking X-rays, processing blood and urine samples in our lab, and compassionate care of our hospitalized pets.
Melanie loves to travel, and especially enjoys camping and hiking! Some of her destinations have included Costa Rica, and most recently, a 2-week trip to Thailand for her honeymoon! She enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 kids, Finnegan & Emma, their Beagle cross, Charlie and their cat, Mittens.
