Dodi

Dodi
Dodi graduated in 1997 from the Animal Care Program at Sheridan College. She joined us in June of 2000 after working at a clinic in Burlington and is another friendly face that greets you at our reception desk or on the phone. Dodi stays busy with her own animals (four dogs and five cats), and has gained experience raising a wide variety of others from pocket pets to large dogs, including raising a litter of puppies from her Jack Russells, Visa and Billy. Dodi even succeeded in raising 'Pinky', a 3 day old Grey Squirrel, which initially looked like a bald pink mouse, to a healthy adult! The name 'Pinky' has stuck and he now lives out on his own but he comes back to visit Dodi regularly for a special treat or snack. Dodi keeps busy with her twin daughters and many furry household companions!

Maria
Maria started  with us in 2006 to cover Dodi's maternity leave.  However Maria has fit in so well with our 'family' that we have been happy to be able to keep her as a part of our health care team.  Maria comes to us with 12 years of previous experience  in veterinary practice and customer service.  Maria enjoys spending time with her family... camping and baking. She resides in Grimsby with her 2 young daughters, her cat, and rescue dog from Louisiana,  Bosco.

Jenn
Jenn is our Registered Veterinary Technician who graduated in 2005 and comes to us with a few years of experience in  veterinary practices in St. Catharines.  Although you may not see her friendly face up front in our reception area, you can be comforted knowing she is ensuring safe delivery of anesthetics to our patients in our surgical suite, placing IV catheters or taking blood samples.  In her spare time Jenn enjoys reading, walking, painting, and spending time with her husband and their dog 'Henry'.

Sue

Sue
Sue graduated with honours from the Sheridan College Animal Care Programme. She worked for fifteen years at Bay Cities Animal Hospital in Burlington before joining us in November 1989 as an Animal Health Technician. She's been with us for 20 years now!! Sue’s compassionate care for our patients helps them relax while they are here. She is especially good with cats and does a wonderful job of cat grooming including ‘shave-offs’ and bathing. She has several of her own “feline-children” at home (Bentley,  Ginger, Penny, Ewwy and Charlie H), plus lovebirds, budgies, and many fish! In her spare time she has enjoyed creating a beautiful pond in their backyard with her husband, which is home to most of their fish during the summer months. Photography and working out at the gym are additional interests she has.

Amanda

Amanda
Amanda joined us initially as a high school co-op student and now has been a full-time employee in animal care since 1991. During this time she also attended Mohawk College where she graduated as a Registered Nurse. This gave her valuable knowledge that she brought to our Animal Hospital. Amanda excels in all aspects of our practice and has naturally moved into the position as our office manager. She enjoys leisure time with her husband and two children. Amanda spends her time helping with parent council at Nelles School and moving her children around from one activity to another.  She recently added 2 siamese kittens to her family, "Toffee" and "Flash".

Tracy

Tracy
Tracy joined us in February 2001. She attended Centralia College after doing 2 years at the University of Guelph. She comes to us with 7 years of veterinary experience from two other animal hospitals in the Milton area. You’ll see Tracy’s smile in the reception area or speak to her on the phone, as well as working as one of our compassionate Veterinary Health Technicians. She has many pets including rabbits, cats, dogs, and horses! She has a special place in her heart and home for FIV+ cats. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters and her teenage son.

Dianne
Dianne joined our hospital team in December 2004. She has enjoyed a career in veterinary practice that began in 1982. She was a valued employee from 1987 to 1989 here at our hospital, until her husband's job relocation to Brampton took her away. We are happy that they have moved back to the area. Dianne's experience is appreciated in her contribution to our reception and patient care service. She has her cat to keep her busy at home as well as a Boston Terrier named Winston.  Dianne spends her spare time leisuring on her boat with her husband in the summer months.
